The door bell rang, then rang again,
a banging door, the bang again,
who knows me here, on drizzly day,
I am alone, please go away.

A knock again, three times the bell,
could it be my demon hell,

I shut it down, embittered haste,

I've entered quite a few contests over the years and never won anything. While I still haven't won yet, I did however make it into the five finalists. For me it is a small victory... yet, somehow it's made my night. I believe that it IS these little triumphs that sustain us. And that were they to come more often many of us would not fall by the wayside.
